JULY

Saturday 12 Oakwood Days reduced grounds fee - $10.00 includes ground fees, pig roast dinner and dance, Petanque Tournament 10 am,  golf cart obstacle race 2 pm, lunch for purchase

Saturday 26 Birthday Party and White Elephant Exchange, 5pm, at Sam and Jan’s lot 61, gifts must be able to fit in a brown grocery bag

AUGUST

Saturday 2 King and Queen of the Sand Volleyball Tournament, lunch for purchase

Saturday 9 Car Show10 am – 2pm,  $25 entry fee,

Saturday 16 Joint Club Volleyball Practice 9-11:30, lunch for purchase

Labor Day Weekend:

Saturday 30  MN Nudist Club Volleyball Tournament 9:30 registration, lunch for purchase

Sunday 31 Sunday Continental breakfast 9 am – clubhouse, Annual Meeting following

Body Painting Contest and Potluck, 6 pm Sunrise Lane, smokers available, just bring your own ribs the night before

SEPTEMBER

Saturday 6 Halloween Party and Dance 7:30 – clubhouse

Saturday 13 Chili Cook-Off 6 pm – clubhouse, all chili entries need to be at the clubhouse by 5pm

Water is on and we are open! Now all we need is some warm weather. Yippee!

Will this winter weather ever end? Sure it will, but our Opening of the season has been delayed due to the snow. In fact, a report from Isanti this afternoon was of 8" of snow and not letting up.

We will keep you posted on the latest. We're all anxious to get up to Oakwood to be with our friends.

Hello friends and interested visitors.  We all anxiously await the thaw and an upcoming club season of activity and friendship.  For those of you who are new to social nudism, we welcome you to our awesome club for a visit.  First time visiting couples can call the Oakwood Membership number to discuss any questions you may have, and to arrange a visit.

Please note that our activities calendar is EXTREMELY LETHARGIC as of this posting.  We are anticipating that our snowbirds will be returning any day, and that the rest of us will be concluding our hibernation shortly.  Once this occurs, we will be filling the calendar with exciting activities to occur throughout the summer months.  We anticipate another awesome WINE TASTING EXTRAVAGANZA on Memorial Weekend, as well as the THIRD ANNUAL BODY PAINTING CONTEST to be held Labor Day Weekend.  New this year, we are hosting a Hawaiian Luau Pool Party, which will happen some time in June.  It is going to be a blast.  Not to give away all the details, but we plan to have an active volcano.  Other past events have included our annual Halloween party, the Oakwood Days Hog Roast, Kentucky Derby party and Poker Run which will be back with a vengeance.  Many other informal sports and other activities will occur throughout the summer.

So, if you have been seeking a psychological B-12 shot in your relationship, try something new and come check us out.  For those of you who have talked about trying out a nudist club, this is your summer!!

Kings & Queens Last Saturday

The Kings and Queens volleyball tournament was a blast! Thank you to all who participated and to Gary and Karol who helped organize it. The taco lunch was a huge success and thank you to the social committee and all the wonderful chefs and servers.
After a busy day of activities, there was no better place to watch a movie than in the pool! What an awesome experience. Thank you Richie and Norma for the movie and popcorn.

Saturday, August 10—Mid Sports Activities

• 2:00 p.m.: Pool Side — Come one, come all for the 1st Annual Cannonball Contest!
• 6:00 p.m.: Potluck — "The Outer Limits of the Inner Circle." For fun, dress as your favorite alien or create your own! Bring a dish to share, BYOB and chairs.

Saturday, August 17—Mid Sports Activities

• 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.: Lunch. Cost: $5.00 for lunch only, $7.00 for lunch and a dessert treat and raffle ticket. Drawing will be at 3:00 p.m.
• Kings and Queens 6s volleyball tournament.
• 2:00 p.m.: "Tear Wear" t-shirt cutting at Woody's. The necessary tools will be provided.

Saturday, August 24—Mid Sports Activities

• 2:00 p.m.: Poolside bingo.
• 6:00 p.m.: Potluck. Hosted by Roger and DD, fun theme to be announced.

Friday, August 30 to Monday, September 2 — Labor Day Weekend.

Saturday, August 31

• Volleyball at Avatan. Avatan has invited Oakwood members to stay for dinner.

Sunday, September 1

• 6:00 p.m.: Body painting and potluck hosted by Dan and Barb.
